The program is basically a text editor that enables you to host a file for editing, and other users (also using MoonEdit) can connect to the file and edit the file with you. </p><p style="width: 75%; text-align: left; ">Each user is listed in the status bar and is assigned a distinctive color that highlights the segments that were edited by him. All cursor movements and text changes are simultaneously visible on the screen by all users.
