The default Windows Photo viewer in Windows Vista and Seven no longer support playback of GIF animations, and in Windows 8 you have to use the full-screen Photos app to view a GIF file. </p><p style="width: 75%; text-align: left; ">7GIF overcomes this problem by providing a small viewer that simply plays the animated GIF when opened.
